About Us

Taste & Technique is the creation of owners Jackie DeMarco and Carolyn Rue. These partners and friends are eager to share their expertise, enthusiasm and entertaining knowledge. The pair have been busy taking over 50 hours of cooking instruction and have assembled a team of talented chefs and cooking instructors to teach professional techniques to the home chef.

Jackie brings her creative talents to Taste & Technique. With over 15 years in the design field Jackie is so excited to bring her artist’s eye to the cooking studio. She is anxious to "get cookin" with the kids and encourage them to use their imaginations to create foods that are a feast for their eyes as well as their bellies.

Carolyn’s business experience and exceptional organizational skills keep the studio simmering. An avid home chef, Carolyn loves to cook and entertain for friends and family. Carolyn is thrilled to bring her love of all things culinary to Taste & Technique and can’t wait to stir up some cooking fun for all.
